Something told me tat the new FIFA World Cup Ball,Adidas Jabulani, and the jambu has in common...the ball may be the latest while jambu has been here over a long period of time.
But come to think of it, I think Adidas took some inspiration from Africa and also Malaysia.......If u think this is lame, then stop reading....If u notice,Jabulani and Jambu sounds similar and I made a prediction stating maybe the ball was named by a Malay speaking person XD....
That's what I thought and if u take the name Jabulani and put it into Malay, it would be read like this(assume some1 speaking in Malay language)- Jambu lah, ini! Then i thought,if he were to say that it must've been the way the ball was designed. If u notice the triangles on the ball, compare it with the jambu their shapes are similar XD...so I thought, the German guy who designed this must've asked a Malay dude about this ball.... (assume a German and a Malay guy role playing)
German guy : Look at this ball....
Malay dude : (curious look) ok?....
German guy : What do u think about this ball I designed for the 2010 FIFA World Cup? I can't seem to find a suitable name for this, could u help me out?
.....d Malay dude don't really understand English,so he took a good look at the ball and told d German what he thought about the ball(he's just trying to be helpful).....
Malay dude : Ini...Macam...Jambu lah,ini!!
German guy: WOW,that's a really nice name! and it shall be named (drums roll) Jabulani!!!
------End-----
Comment if u think this is lame, and comment if u liked the lame story I wrote XD.....please comment either way
