Michael Jackson

Like everyone know since the day he died, everyone knew I wasn't a Michael Jackson freak so the news didn't shake or even impact me like it did to many others. I can still remember it was last year's Hari Koperasi when my friends told me in the morning. But ever since his departure, I've started to check him out and going through some of his songs and turns out all the criticism I made towards him was something I regretted ( well, some of it only cuz some are facts and my dislikes)

From this I learnt to like him cause looking at his songs and the lyrics just leaves me thinking of how great he is. I mean, Michael and I have something in common that is we both love songs with meaningful lyrics to it. His songs are from his heart, I can really see this from his testimonies, his charitable deeds and the influences he leave behind everywhere he goes. Being myself I'm not like most of my friends who are pop-cultured oriented kinda people, but I like songs (new and old) with lyrics that has meaning to it, something that has a message, something that has a kind of power to influence the world in a special and long lasting way.

Michael has left a legacy that no one can take and yea, his songs will prevail!!! I pay tribute to the king of pop and a tribute to the love he spread with his music.

Back & Forth

Just got back from Taylor's college open day an hour ago and I'm preparing for tonight's Parent's Nite!  The emcee for this year is yours truly ( WOOHOO!!!)

About the open day it was better than what i've expected, it wasn't boring at all and I had a chance to hear testimonies from the students themselves about the pre-u programmes they entered. It's kinda tempthing to hear students from 2 different matriculations giving ther personal testimonies. I still can't decide which to go as I have already have a few good ones in mind. But the thing that caught my attention was how much charisma the CPU ( Canadian Pre- University) principle had. He was so charismatic and very excited. He's a Canadian white guy btw. He jokes and gives very good advice, and from the student's testimonies he lived up to his name as a charismatic person as well as an intellectual person.

So right now i'm here and about to leave for church for the Parent's Nite, haven't prepare what I have to say and i'm only 6 minutes away from leaving my house so yea... I gotta go and i'll update how it goes la 2ml ^^

Church Camp 2010

I finally got out of my laziness to update my blog and yeah about church camp. It's ok I guess for the overall camp, how it went for 4 days and 3 nights. The one thing I love about camps is that I always get to enjoy my breakfast to the full. Let me tell you why, I get to eat:
1 big plate of nasi lemak,
a lot of bowls of cereal,
unlimited supply of orange juice
...LOL...I love my breakfast ^^ Except for the last day, I woke up late cause I stayed up watching that England match. Especially the cereals, brings back memories of my childhood days.

So like Josiah Lim and Nate taught me how to play Put-Put a.k.a Mini Golf, it was kinda fun considering my first time playing and i'm kinda good at it ^^. So the days went by and we all got crazy with the golf and did awesome yet ridiculous stuff XD...but it's awesome, those lame stunts manage to shut my guilt of hitting the tennis ball too far out into no where( I played tennis before that).

Everyone decided to go Jonker Street for some durian cendol, but sadly it rained so we had to cut short our trip. Went to 88, ate our cendols and laksa, took photos and cabuted after that. Went to Mahkota Parade to hide from the rain and played bowling to kill time la, what else are we gonna do?? The girls went shoe shopping, but only Jess bought a pair. Went back walking, already late for dinner XD and canceled our swimming...sad case...

We continued playing Captain Ball after the games in the afternoon the next day...and phew~...Won by only 1 point and getting both my legs crammed and worsen my sprain...sad case but I can't resist sports =P... Nate actually scored 6 goals for his team and I can't remember who scored how many for my team, not even mine. We're late for dinner again but c'mon...Malaysians lah~ Everyone else was late XD...Stayed up late playing Wings of War and Mafia and I watched England with yet another!!!! ANOTHER OWN GOAL!!! haiyoo~...I'll be watching other matches as well so nvm la... I SUPPORT ENGLAND!!!

What I've Been Up To...Lame~

I was looking forward to doing this experiment today- the mentos + coke experiment...I thought using POLO mints would be more effective and so I did it... MAN! Was I wrong.  So I got my props ready...well the pictures will tell the story la...

The POLO broke into pieces when I was about to take them out...

Here's the video of the experiment (Don't get excited)

Dissapointing isn't it? Should've followed instructions and used Mentos and it would've exploded 4 feet high...
This crappy computer is taking too long, I've been waiting for hours!!! I f you guys see me then ask me for it la...I'll try to upload it again another day...

I'm Alright

Yes I know I've not been updating for quite some time now but here I am and there'll be plenty more to update cause I got my hols all planned up... So for this post I want to take time to let everyone know I'm alright and I want to take 2 of my best friends for sticking to me thru ups and downs...

Some of you know my issue and you guys know I snapped and made lots of noise, it took me quite some time to think abt it and I know I should've been better in my mentality and the way I acted... I want to thank 2 of my best friends in the whole wide world - Joe Siang and Lean Lik...They've been awesome in helping me do stuff in CU, having fun and encouraging me in my comps and problems. I've let the issue go, if it's God's will for me then so be it. From this issue I learnt I shouldn't let this issue hold me down, I shouldn't be even though I found out I was treated very unfairly. All this God has taught me accept His will even if it hurts and yes it is hard to accept...this reminds me,God put me in this situation countless times and looking back at all those doors God shut and taking me to another,I ended up loving it even though I didn't thought I would but God made all the difference!
Through this issue God showed me people who talks but don't stay true to whatever they just said, through this issue, I learnt to enjoy Emmanuel in every way. Just because I've been treated unfairly and my chances were not given, does not mean the chances are not coming! I'm holding on to God and my love for music will stay!

If you guys still think i'm pissed about this, about how greedy some ppl were, how unfairly I was treated, how ppl were so hard on me...I'm through with all that now, ALL I want to do now is doing my best in everything I do...Because I know, my hard work has been noticed by God, my saviour, friend, and king!

The bible says in Revelation 3...What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. (vs 10) Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on earth. Thank God for His word, where could I be without You!
